Abbie J. von SchlegellCFRE, has been in the development field for over 40 years, as a consultant for about half of her career with several national firms, and as a senior development officer with four institutions. She has held key development positions at Stanford University, where she was the Major Gifts director for Silicon Valley and at The University of Chicago in major gifts, capital campaigns and donor relations.
Abbie also was the Chief Development Officer for the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C. and for Enterprise Community Partners in Columbia, MD. In the summer of 2007, she moved her consulting practice to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. She presents regularly for AFP, CASE, various community foundations and nonprofit associations.

Adrian implemented an automated propensity scoring system, the first to be used by a university in the United Kingdom, and designed and implemented the University’s dedicated 20-seat fundraising call centre.
Prior to joining the University of Leeds, Adrian served for more than nine years with The Phone Room Ltd., as Director of Client Services and as Head of TPR Education. Daniel Wilkins is a media professional specializing in out-of-home and digital media. In January 2008 he launched the first ever privately held media agency solely dedicated to the planning and buying of digital place-based media campaigns, called n2. In 2012, he successfully negotiated the sale of both of his companies, Wilkins Media Company and n2, to a private investment group.
In December 2013 Daniel launched Agency672, which simplifies the planning and buying process of all out-of-home media formats, as well as digital display media globally. He is also the Executive Director of the PVBLIC Foundation, a non-profit organization that harnesses the power of media to drive social change. PVBLIC works strategically to pair media space with key non-profits at the local, national and global levels. Neil Hope A qualified transpersonal psychotherapist and expert practitioner in mindfulness and meditation, Neil Hope has been responsible for the training and development of tens of thousands of young people to be fundraisers and leaders at HOME. As one of the earliest practitioners in face to face fundraising, he has overseen the development of a business which has grown from an idea to an international concern made up of 18 offices in the UK and India and raising over £0.5 billion for charity.

Stephen George is a Fundraising and Leadership Coach and Consultant focused on Leadership Driven Fundraising. Stephen is currently working globally on legacies with INGO’s including UNICEF and Oxfam and has over 30 years experience in charities most recently as Executive Director at Action on Hearing Loss and Director of Fundraising at Maggie's, a cancer charity. From 2006 to 2010 he led Legacy Fundraising at the NSPCC (National Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Children) where he introduced a new ‘conversation’ led approach and TV & digital campaign. In 1998 as Director of Community Appeals at the NSPCC, he was responsible for volunteer fundraising, schools, & events. In 1999 as part of the senior leadership of the largest social charity appeal in the UK, the Full Stop appeal, Stephen specifically led the appeal in the regions, which raised £55 million of the overall £260 million. Before joining the NSPCC, he was Head of Regional Fundraising at UNICEF and prior to that in a range of roles at disability charity Scope. He was chairman of Remember a Charity, a consortium of over 145 charities promoting gifts in wills, where he led the development of a new TV and digital campaign, focused on behavior change. He is now Vice Chairman of the UK’s professional fundraising organisation the Institute of Fundraising.

Usha Menon is founder of Usha Menon Management Consultancy (Asia), an international training and consultancy service working exclusively with social-impact organisations across Asia. She is advisor and program curator of this inaugural Global Fundraising Conference in China. Her multi-country client list include charities, arts/ health/ education organisations, think-tanks, UN entities, International NGOs, social enterprises, philanthropists, capability building organizations, amongst others. She brings a wealth of multi-country experience, expertise and insights on leadership, management and fundraising.
Usha has helped charities to expand their fundraising capabilities in-country, especially in the areas of local private sector fundraising through individual giving, philanthropic investments and corporate engagement which has transformed charity income sources drastically through local resource mobilisation across Asia. Her past careers include leadership positions at the National Council of Social Service/Community Chest in Singapore and as Asia -Pacific Regional Director for Resource Development and Programs for Habitat for Humanity International.

Dr. Isabel Sim is Senior Research Fellow, Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences,National University of Singapore as well as Director (Projects), Centre for Social Development (Asia).
Prior to this, Isabel was at NUS Business School where she held joint appointments as Senior Lecturer, Department of Strategy and Policy, and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre of Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO).
At CGIO, she was the Head of Corporate Governance Practices where she served as the principal consultant for Singapore’s Governance & Transparency Index (GTI).
Isabel was also appointed as a member of the corporate governance experts’ panel to the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard from 2012 to 2014.

Eddie Razak is Executive Vice President at Agensi Inovasi Malaysia, the national agency for innovation in Malaysia. He heads the Social Innovation team which looks at promoting innovation in society, through guiding the ideation and enterprise process particularly in young people; and innovation for society, through enablers for social participation. His work involves advocacy for policies and structures that can address social needs and promoting how government can work with social-purpose organisations and the private sector to facilitate social investment, intervention programmes and preventive approaches that address systemic social issues.

Eddie started his career in an investment bank and over the years had served in two major multinationals in oil & gas and in mobile telecommunications. He had also served in senior financial and investment positions in public-listed companies and headed the investor relations association for the stock exchange of Malaysia. He also does voluntary work in education and the social sector.
